Misty Meadow Farm in Durham, CT has been using the Equine Automation X5 Feed Dispenser for almost one year. It looks as good as the day we brought it home and it is exposed to New England weather! The battery life of this product is amazing as well.
This feeder has many uses. We most recently used the feeder to assist in the rehabilitation of several extremely thin rescued mares. The feeder allowed us to safely provide multiple small rations throughout the day to expedite weight gain safely and without worry. It also eliminates boredom, as the horses are intermittently alerted when they hear the next portion being offered.
I am extremely happy with this product and highly recommend it.
