Can the X5-CD feed multiple horses or other animals?

The X5-CD is designed to dispense to one common point, and it can feed multiple animals as long as the feed capacity is adequate and the animals being fed can share.

There is a bit of history behind this answer though, back in 2012 we did do a trial run of a double-dispense feeder, but it had the draw-back of only allowing two prefilled feeds for each chute.  There are certainly reasons 2 feedings could be adequate for various animals, so we thought we would share our past design. An owner could recreate this with some minor modifications and purchasing a second chute.

Several customers have sent us videos or photos of unique installs and tweaks, and we love how excited others are to share with us, so if you do customize for multiple feed locations, we’d love to see what you come up with!
